New cases on the test for family status, reasonable vs. perfect accommodation, need vs. preference and the impact of cost and safety.

Update on Accommodating Mental Disabilities

New cases on terminations related to mental disabilities, requests for mental health information and return-to-work protocols following a mental health leave.

Update on Accommodating Substance Addiction 

New cases on approaches to substance-related misconduct, evidence required to establish a connection, the impact of safety and the limits on accommodating substance dependency.

Update on Accommodation Remedies

New cases on remedies for the failure to accommodate including monetary damages, reinstatement with conditions, human rights training, public apologies and remedies for breaching the procedural duty to accommodate.

Group (3+ each): $575 (plus $28.75 GST = $603.75)

Mega Group (20+ each): $495 (plus $24.75 = $519.75)

To qualify for group rates, individuals must be from the same organization, or union local, AND register together at the same time.  Individuals registering separately will not qualify for group rates.

Registration for this seminar includes the one-day seminar, the seminar binder in PDF format, continental breakfast and refreshments. Other meals are not included.


CANCELLATIONS must be in writing and received by May 24 in order to qualify for a refund.  Cancellations after May 24 will not qualify for a refund.
